Judo Paralympian Myles Porter Makes History

May 1, 2010 the National Judo Championships were held in Myrtle Beach, SC. Myles Porter, who lives at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO was one of the competitors. He has been visually impaired since birth and first learned the sport of Judo in Freemont, Ohio where he also wrestled. His vision is only 10% of a what is considered "normal" vision.

Myles also won Gold at the Blind World Championships in March and placed 5th at the 2008 Paralympic Games in...

Help 4 Blind & Visually Impaired Paralympic Judo Athletes

Pepsi has provided Grant money for worthy causes. The Blind Judo Foundation has been accepted for a $5000 Grant to help four blind / visually impaired Judo athletes prepare for the next Olympic / Paralympic Games. However it requires everyone to VOTE for this cause.

Therefore go to Pepsi Refresh Project and under HEALTH search for "support blind Judo" to find our application. VOTE everyday during July to help the Foundation win the $5000 Grant for deserving blind and visually...

Tuesday night's "Dancing With The Stars" elimination show started with the encore performance by Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough for their amazing dance and outstanding choreography. They actually changed up the beginning of the dance, replacing the few notes of piano playing with dancing the moves out. Another awesome dance.
