Missouri hires Pingeton as new women's hoops coach (AP)
Missouri has hired Robin Pingeton of Illinois State to lead its struggling women's basketball program. The former Iowa State assistant was introduced by athletic director Mike Alden at a Thursday morning news conference. Pingeton led the Redbirds to three straight 25-win seasons and was twice picked coach of the year in the Missouri Valley Conference.
