Our gym has the 10 minutes late rule - if you're late to class by 10 minutes or more, you have to take a make-up and can't join the class. It's set for safety, but why can't the child just warm-up on the side to join in? Hmm..ya that does not make sense at all! If it's so important for those little kids to not miss warm-up so much so that then that if they do miss it they can't join in the class, they shouldn't have that backwards class like you said! I think it's for discussion on gymnastics that is for toddler/youth/teens/adult that wouldn't fit in the competitive / pre-compettive forum sections! like talking about teens/adult classes, or intro classes for toddlers, etc.
