We did a birthday party for my 5-year-old dd. It was awful.

First of all, I had to drive to this place twice to get invitations. The invitations were printed in one color, on a poor quality printer, and some of the invitations I got there fist time were plain on the inside. So I had to drive there second time to get enough invitations.

There was no AC, the place was miserably hot. Everybody was so thirsty after jumping in such a hot place. The Ocean Tumblers advertised they provide drinks and paper products. In fact, they told me, "You bring the cake and the kids, everything else is on us." They knew I’m bringing food for the parents, so when I asked them ahead of time do I have to bring paper products and drinks for parents, I was told that they’ll provide that, it’s no problem. Their paper products were of very poor quality. Kind of plain white cups, for example.

Drink was water from the water fountain for the parents. No even cups for them. The staff also referred parents to the drink machine to buy their own drink. (Hey, if I knew it, I would bring drinks myself, and not have my quests buy overpriced beverages from the wending machine!) Kids drank their cheap orange powder+water drinks, filled to only 1/3 of a cup, pretty fast and a lot of them asked for a refill. The staff refused. "You’ve had one, that’s enough" Not to mention, that the drink was not even store bought, it was stored in plastic containers without any labels, in their dirty fridge.

Their ’goody bags’ included solely papers with adds about the classes, lessons, etc. Not even a single toy or a candy. (Do 5-year-old kids care about papers!)?

So, I wouldn’t recommend this place for a B-day party unless you want to bring everything yourself, but then the price of that hour in the gym comes up to be very high comparing to other places. All that they advertised turns out to have no use, or is that ugly that you don’t want to use it.
